OUR STORY
‘Lady J’ is a mother-daughter duo that uniquely blends their love of art, glass & music, drawing a unique parallel between the art forms. Both mother & daughter create works under the name of ‘Lady J Studio’, inspired by the legendary jazz singer, Billy Holiday’s stage name, ‘Lady Day’, holding true to their passion for art & culture.
In our unique design studio, the magnificence lies in the selection of glass which are all internationally imported. The mission from the very beginning has been simple; to provide state-of-the-art bespoke, luxury glass products of the highest quality that can be passed down for generations!
CLIENTELE
The amalgamation of LadyJ’s expertise can be seen in India’s renowned heritage structures, such as the World Trade Centre, the Cricket Club of India (C.C.I.) amongst other well-known architectural structures built during the 19th century. LadyJ has been commissioned for numerous private residences in the U.K., U.S., Dubai & India, diversifying our growing global footprint, having exhibited works at the Dubai Trade Fair & Jehangir Art Gallery, amongst other national exhibitions. Our talents were tapped upon for the restoration of stained glass window panels at churches & mansions built during the British Raj, in addition to large scale restoration project at the iconic, Rajabhai Clock Tower in Mumbai, winning the UNESCO award for Cultural Heritage Conservation in 2018.
